THE TRANSLUCENT SOUND - FIALKOVÉ ÚDOLIE 2
site-specific performance / length: 50 minutes
Translucent Sound deals with personal, living spaces. With light and musical selection which "shine through" the intimate space, heterogenous musical, spatial and intellectual concepts/compositions are created. The first show took place in the house and the garden of the famous Slovak composer of the 20th century Ján Cikker. The villa serves now as a museum. The performance used a diversity of music repertoire: Ján Cikker, Franz Schubert, Francis Poulenc, Benjamin Britten, Johannes Brahms, Dmitri Shostakovich...
